Shirley Beer & Cider Festival

The Shirley Beer & Cider Festival returns from 15–17 May 2025 at Camp Hill Rugby Club in Solihull, promising a lively weekend of drinks, entertainment, and community spirit. As the largest charity beer festival in Birmingham, it features over 100 real ales, craft beers, ciders, and cocktails. The event kicks off on Thursday with a comedy night, followed by a Friday pub quiz, and culminates on Saturday with live music, family-friendly activities like inflatables and face painting, and a variety of food vendors offering everything from BBQ to Indian street food.
Organised entirely by volunteers from local charitable groups—Round Table, Ladies Circle, 41 Club, and Tangent—all profits support community initiatives in the Shirley area. Past beneficiaries include the Lily Mae Foundation, local Scouts, and St John Ambulance. Easily accessible by foot from Shirley Station, the venue also provides ample parking for designated drivers.
