Ashover Brewery

Ashover Brewery, Chesterfield

Ashover Brewery, established in 2007 by Roy Shorrock and Kim Beresford, began its journey at the Old Poets' Corner public house in Ashover, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The brewery quickly gained popularity among local real ale enthusiasts, leading to an expansion in 2015 to a larger facility in Clay Cross to meet increasing demand. In 2020, ownership transitioned to David Neale, a Sheffield-based entrepreneur with a passion for real ales. The brewery is renowned for producing high-quality ales using locally sourced ingredients, including those from local suppliers, home growers, farms, and their own foraging efforts. Their commitment to quality and innovation has earned them numerous awards from CAMRA, SIBA, and various beer festivals.
