Welbeck Abbey

1 Oxford Wing, Worksop

Welbeck Abbey Brewery, established in 2011, is a traditional microbrewery located on the historic Welbeck Estate near Worksop, Nottinghamshire. Housed in a renovated listed barn, the brewery produces handcrafted ales using four primary ingredients: malted barley, aromatic hops, the estate's natural spring water, and a unique strain of yeast. They prioritize quality and service, distributing their beers to pubs within a 35-mile radius and offering products at the Welbeck Farm Shop. Their core range includes: - **Cavendish**: A balanced blonde ale with grapefruit flavors, named after the House of Cavendish. - **Portland**: An American West Coast IPA featuring piney and tropical flavors. - **Skylight**: A pale lager brewed with British-grown lager malt and continental hops, offering floral and grassy notes. - **Red Feather**: A robust auburn ale with walnut and caramel flavors, inspired by the estate's emblem. Each month, they introduce special brews, experimenting with new hop varieties and ingredients. The brewery also offers guided tours, providing insights into their brewing process and history. Visitors can purchase their beers online for home delivery or visit the Welbeck Farm Shop for in-person shopping. The brewery is part of a vibrant community that includes a coffee roaster, chocolatier, and bakery, all contributing to the estate's rich heritage.
