Queer Brewing

Argall Avenue, London

The Queer Brewing Project is the UK's first queer- and trans-owned brewery, established in 2019 by Lily Waite-Marsden to address the lack of LGBTQ+ representation in the beer industry. Initially operating through collaborations, it has since evolved into a fully operational brewery with its own facility in Leyton, East London, as of September 2024. The brewery also operates a taproom in East London, open Fridays from 4 PM to 10 PM and Saturdays from 1 PM to 10 PM, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy their beers directly at the source. Demonstrating a commitment to the LGBTQ+ community, Queer Brewing donates 10p from every can and pint sold to rotating LGBTQ+ charities, supporting vital and impactful work within the community.
