Beer Festival
The Old Crown Messing Beer Festival

Come down Bank holiday weekend for a fun packed weekend of entertainment, selection of local beers from around Essex and Suffolk and fantastic food.
Saturday
Kick the weekend off with live music from 3pm starting with rock ‘n’ roll classics from The Wanderers, followed by Gareth with his live loops, blistering guitar solos and big vocals.
Sunday
Chill and Relax, Sundays are made for delicious food and laid back tunes. Enjoy our Annual Hog roast from 12.30pm, local beers and music from Benjamin White and Phil Lagos, throughout the afternoon.
Monday
Bank holiday Monday is Family Day. Open from 12pm, bring the kids down and enjoy magic, disco and games with Our children’s entertainer from 1pm-3pm courtesy of AnywhereParties!
This year we excited to bring you a petting zoo from Rocky’s Animals! Between 12.30 – 1.30pm we will have Goats, Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Tortoise, Snake, African Pygmy Hedgehog, Bearded Dragon, Gecko and a Chicken for people to hold and see.
